Massage dates back thousands of years to the first written records in  ancient cultures such as China, Egypt, and India. They believed in the many healing and medicinal benefits massage therapy offers. It is the sacred system of natural healing. Those same techniques along with many others discovered along time are what we still use today.

Meet the licensed professional below:

My name is Brandi Tinsley and I am a License Massage Therapist in Tennessee. I studied at Southeastern Institute of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy previously located in Donelson, TN. I graduated in February of 2012 and received my license in July 2012 after taking the extensive state exam and surpassing all requirements. I love what I do and could not imagine myself doing anything different. I love helping people and making them feel better in their own bodies. In my free time, you can either find me homeschooling my children or gardening.

“To keep the body in good health is a duty… Otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.”

PHILOSOPHY
SWEDISH

The most popular types of massage in the United States. One of the primary goals is to relax the body by using hands, forearms, and elbows on manipulation of the superficial layers of the muscles. Some the the benefits include reduced stress, increased blood flow, and pain management.

DEEP TISSUE

Deep Tissue provides the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia relief from chronic pain. Pain originating from muscle tension, postural problems, or recovery from injury. Being a deeper type of massage it is not suited for everyone, especially those with certain medical conditions.

CUSTOMIZED

Similar to a Swedish, with the exception of more specified areas that need additional focal work. Pressure is that of a light to firm level.

PRENATAL

Prenatal massage is a great way to relieve the physical and emotional stress that comes with pregnancy. It can help reduce swelling, improve circulation, and alleviate back pain. Additionally, prenatal massage can promote relaxation and better sleep, which can benefit both the mother and the baby.
